I do not treat this as a daily blog. I put the items where I think they should go which means that you will have to look for pictures you have not seen yet. But do not miss the cat in the sun at the end.
Preamble
Most of the dishes take under 10 minutes, on the outside 15. Well, the red and yellow peppers with rice took 17 and probably could have taken longer but I became impatient. ‘Impatient cooking’ should be the title of all of this. And so it is. Otherwise I get bored and start doing other things and hence my burned pans. I use only one pan now, a large stainless steel skillet with a heavy lid. Very important for keeping it all under 15 minutes.
Each time I cook, I’ll put it up here. If I don’t, then it means that it isn’t worth seeing. Some of my meals I eat with my eyes closed. Basically, there is no preparation involved. What’s there goes on the plate. I did not think that I could do this but after eating out too often I figured that I was not getting any richer and better start doing my own.

There are several reasons for not using extensive quotes:

As far as I know, that option does not exist on the current blog. Did some more checking and found this. The ‘E-mail me whenever’ facility was in fact turned on. It has been turned off. Unfortunately, this does not appear to affect older subscriptions.
Here is a comment posted elsewhere by timethief in 2010: Sadly there is no way to stop the deluge that continues even for years if the blogger chooses to leave the post open to comments. I have even witnessed spam posted as comment on such pots and since I became savvy to the fact that we cannot unsbscribe have refused to subscribe to comments on wordpress.com blogs.

Re: If you wish to delete the RSS feed in Windows Internet Explorer, I can give the following information:
In Windows Internet Explorer, at the top, there is a star and the word ‘Favorites’ next to it. This is different from the ‘Favorites’ listed on the menu bar along with ‘File Edit View Favorites Tools Help’.
If you do not see the star and the word Favorites beside it, right click any blank space at the top except not the blue band with the words ‘Windows Internet Explorer’. A list of possible bars will be given. Left click on ‘Favorites Bar’. Left click on the star ‘Favorites’ which will now be visible, click on ‘Feeds’, select ‘tsingle info blog’ and select ‘delete’.

Re: Information on doing backups
Someone asked how to do backups of blogs. This was my answer.
Thank you for reminding me. Have not done a backup for sometime. There are several types of backups and I will give information on:
Transfer capability which WordPress has to transfer from one blog to another.
FTP CLIENT
I find that the best backup is using an ftp client facility to download from your site to your disk. There are many out there both free and not-free. I use FileZilla which is opensource software from Sourceforge
http://filezilla-project.org/ What you want here is the FileZilla Client. Just download it, open it and login in to your website host which hosts your blog. Mine is Yahoo.com where I set up a site for my regular material, and selected WordPress as the blog. I did not have to go into the WordPress site to do it, or download the blog from WordPress. It was all done automatically through Yahoo. In Yahoo, once you are in your site, go to manage and it will give you the Host (something like ‘ftp.<your site name>) and Username (something like <your site name with no period>@<your site name>) to enter into the ftp client in order to make the connection between the site and your hard disk. Most ftp clients are similar. So, I will give the procedure to follow using FileZilla. Open up FileZilla. The site directory and your hard disk directory will open up. !. Select the directory on your hard disk to store the backup. 2. Then, there are several ways to start the backup: You can place the cursor on the file or directory in your site which you want to backup and move it to the hard disk file where you wish to store your backup. Or, on the right side (site directory) select the directory or file to back up, right click on it and select download. But be sure that you have on the left side (your hard disk directory) you have highlighted the directory in which you want the backup. You can select specific files to backup, but I would suggest that you backup your whole site directory so that if there is a problem, you will have the total directory for reinstalling without a lot of reconstructing. The backup is very fast and you will see information on the process taking place. If you do not see anything, than no transfer has occurred. Just to make sure, check the directory on your hard disk.
YAHOO AUTOMATIC TIME LIMITED BACKUPS
Many internet hosts have their own internal backup systems.
Yahoo has an automatic backup system (called snapshots) which keeps hourly (last two days), nightly (last 7 days), weekly (about one month) which allows restoration of the site. Whether or not this includes a blog, I do not know. Also a file must be on the site for at least 4 hours for it to be picked up by the snapshot system. Anything older than that cannot be restored using this system. Yahoo recommends long term backups be done using FTP.
WORDPRESS EXPORT FACILITY (this is not a backup)
WordPress has an export facility for transporting your blog to another WordPress blog. You will find in on your site. This will allow you to export to your hard disk the information necessary for you to upload your blog to another wordpress site. Warning: this is not a backup to your disk in any shape or form. It is only a few lines of information allowing you to make a direct connection between your current blog to another blog on WordPress allowing transfer between the two sites. But apparently the original site must be available and undamaged.
The FTP client backup facility I use.
Automatic backup system of the host where I have my site and blog which is Yahoo.
